So you all LOVED the student discounts post (I am talking record numbers!) So I did more research and have complied all of the discounts that I could find. Be sure to read through though because not all of them are in the colorful lists, some are explained in just the text. Be sure to take advantage of these discounts & share with your friends!
Updated retail:
All of the above discounts are subject to the location and may be slightly different than what is listed so be sure to ask. Also, lots of locally owned restaurants offer discounts so always ask!
Insurance companies like Geico, Esurance, State Farm, Travelers, Farmers Insurance and All-state also offer discounts for students.
AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile discounts average 6-18%
AMC Theaters offer students a discount on movie tickets on Thursdays.
American Airlines also offers students a discount on travel, call to find out more details.
I also found that General Motors offers discounts on Chevy, Buick and GMC Cars for students but this is probably subject to the dealer.
I use Ebates when shopping online. They give you cash back for what you spend. It is really easy, sign up here, then all you do is click the link to the store you want from Ebates and earn a percentage back on what you spend. Thus far I have received two checks with my cash back! You also get a $10 gift card when you sign up (yes it really works, I used mine at Target.)
I have also heard of studentrate.com but have not personally tried it.
I have done my best to check and double check that these discounts work, if for some reason you find one that does not work, or know of one I did not post, please comment and I will update this post!

These are great!! Thanks for all the research!
Are these only limited to certain items? Or are these things discounts for everything in store?
As far as I could tell, it is one everything, there may be some exclusions on specific things, but for the retail everything is included, no exclusions! Happy Shopping!

WOW! This is a GREAT list! thank you for making these- I cant believe I havent been taking advantage of all of these so far!
Oh my goodness, these discounts are going to be so helpful next year! Amazing. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Happy Shopping!

how do you get the discount? Do you print out coupons?
You get them by showing your student ID and/or using your student email address! Always ask if they have a student discount!

If the discounts are online, how do we access them? Ex. the Target discount…other than that this post has changed my life! Making Kate Spade more affordable is a dream come true!
Tried to use Target 10% off student discount in-store yesterday – store manager said it did not exist. Are you sure about this one?
I found it on a few places that said it was true, a lot of the big chain store ones depend on participating locations.
one more for your list.
Jack Wills – University Outfitters – 15% off
Are these student discounts for like a specific aged student, such as a college student, or do these apply for any student, such as a high school student?
This are great by the way, thanks for the research!
anyone that has a student ID should be able to use the discount. Good luck! xoxo
Charlotte Russe said it only works on full price items. Tried it on a sale items and they told me No.
AT&T offers 15% off your phone bill if you show your ID in stores! I’ve saved a bunch over the years!
Didn’t you have an online code for Kate spade at one point on here? If so, I can’t find it or remember it and would love to use it!
Sadly, the code is no longer active. I would email customer service if you are ordering online and ask if they can help. Otherwise, go into a store and show your student id!
